The brewery was named from the experience of its owner Luther Carson who was present in the disastrous flooding in Paducah and Luther Carson’s Coca-Cola bottling plant in 1937.

5. Lloyd Tilghman Memorial

Also in Paducah KY, The Lloyd Tilghman Memorial is a historical statue molded by Henry Hudson a then resident of Boston, Massachusetts who had relocated from England.

The statue was made in honor of a brigadier general for the Confederate States of America by the name Lloyd Tilghman who had died in May 1863 at the Battle of Champion Hill.

Constructed using bronze, the statue is positioned on a pink granite pedestal and base and depicts a practical structure of Tilghman.

The statue is about 12ft tall and rests upon two perfect square bases of about 16ft and 25ft respectively.

The Brookport Bridge also popularly known as the Irvin S. Cobb Bridge is a significant bridge that connects Paducah, Kentucky, north to Brookport, Illinois.

The farm has alpacas of all colors and sizes. It offers fun alpaca walks and rare alpaca products such as socks, yarn, hats, clothes, and other items that can serve as memorabilia.

As the name of the farm implies, the farm also features the Maremmas, also known as Maremma Abruzzio. This brave dog breed protects the alpacas from predators such as bears and wolves.
